Chad Pipkens of Michigan, the 2012 Bassmaster Northern Opens points champion who made his Elite Series debut last week at the Sabine River, has picked up sponsorship deals with Damiki Fishing and HullSpeed Performance Marine Coatings.
“Damiki has a great selection of hardbaits and soft plastics,” Pipkens said. “Their innovative and cutting-edge design in baits will help me put more fish in my livewell and stay confident while on the water. I’m excited to join the Damiki Team and put their products to work for me!”
Pipkens’ Skeeter FX20 will be coated with HullSpeed paint, which claims to add 2 mph or more to a boat’s top-end speed while increasing fuel economy by as much as 5 percent.
Pipkens also re-signed with Powell Rods, a company he’s been affiliated with for the past 5 years.
